After being in Garitas bay for a long time and fighting mosquitoes every morning, I sailed to Kassiopi on the north coast of Corfu.- about 12 nm. Perfect wind from the southeast. Since the sea up there are completely open to the Adriatic Sea, it is necessary to have a berth which I ordered on WEB. Normally, docks do not cost much in Greece, but the 2-3 ports you sail to when you come the long distance from Italy are an exception. Here the Coast Guard has a check on things and I had to find the ship papers again. Before I was asked for the official ship documents, I had tried to cheat with the length of the boat, but when she saw the papers she found with a crooked smile that the length was over 12 meters - and thus a little more expensive🙂 Well tried buddy but it did not work 😅I just had to pay 72 € for 2 days, but since I did not dare to anchor up here, there was no other solution. Here is really cozy with a lot of nice tavernas and no mosquitoes - wonderful. There have been some swells tonight. No doubt this port can get really violent to lie in if the weather is bad and the waves come in from the Adriatic
