Some lovely days here in Lakka. Nice temperature. Yesterday, however, there was a strong wind, but here inside the lagoon I was sheltered from the waves, which have certainly been big outside. As the day went on and there was more wind, the lagoon began to receive a number of boats that needed shelter from the waves.
I do not think there will be such a hefty tourism here in Greece this year. It will be impacked by Covid as last year. Bad for Greece, but nice for us sailing around.
Got my Chinese outboard engine started. Teased a bit when the instruction manual regarding oil level was wrong. It therefore spat out a lot of oil and smoked a lot in the beginning, but now it is running fine. It cost 1/3 of a similar normal Honda, which is otherwise the "mainstreem" outboard engine. It looks like something which is not really finished yet, - a kind of selfmade - but it runs -so far- fine and does its job š. It says on the engine that it is an engine of 4 HP ....... but I think there should have been 2 HPš¤£. It is all a kind of joke, and if it is still running next year it is ok. However, there are also benefits to such an ugly duckling. You get attention and friends in the harbor.š
