I talked to the harbor master in Mandraki regarding being affiliated with the sailing club all year round, including the opportunity to stay here in the summer from next year. I can fine be here for the winter again, but the other issue is difficult as there is a long wait and you expect to be active in the club in the summer. Well ... but I need to talk to the chairman and secretary of the sailing club and see if there is a solution.

Then I had a long talk with my chandler (boat equipment dealer) about getting some assistance in finding a house to rent. It turns out that Alex is the mayor of the most charming little village 15 minutes from Corfu downtown and he wants to help me. I have been on super nice wavelength with him from day one. He has such a great sense of humor and we laugh a lot together. We are friends he says 😊.

I also had to have a blood test so I could find out if my kidney numbers were in order. I'm getting some medication to lower my blood pressure ... and that medication could potentially cause imbalance. Also, I think diuretics in up to 42 degree heat are a bad thing. I got blood pressure and blood tests taken in no time. It just works so well. The answer ticked in on an email 6 hours later. On the way out the door, the female doctor grabbed me and said I had to find a competent cardiologist here in Greece. I promised her that.

Well, things work out here in Greece - you want to help each other.
