Although I had develloped a smart plan to save the anchor, the anchor did not let itself be saved. It was firmly attached. I've had the anchor for over 35 years - so it hurt !!  A nice lightweight Danforth anchor. - Well , but I still have two extra, but of a different kind.

Sailed to Vathi - the "capital" of Itacha. Laid me at anchor in the bay and got the dinghy tow line in the propeller 😟 and had to go on a swim to catch the dinghy which became free as the line was cutted.😁. Then I was considering again how to get the line out of the propeller when one is not happy to dive - basically i am a little afraid diving. Feeling claustrophobic. To my great luck, a large Danish boat came and anchored up next to me - with 8 fresh sweet young people on board and one was good for diving. Then it was solved.😅 I was really, really lucky - again.  Was invited for a beer on the Danish boat. Young people between the ages of 20 and 30 and a skipper named Birger. Skipper is my age and owns the boat. The others pay to sail with 1-2 months. I thought it was wonderful to be with such sweet young adventurous people. We had a few super cozy hours together. Now it's blowing up again like yesterday - roughly the same strength. Do not hope there will be challenges with the anchor gear tonight 😏
