Yesterday it was windless all day - except for the half hour where I sailed into the marina in Syvota. 10 minutes before docking, 10 m/s came from the northwest. Definitely not optimal for docking in the marina. I therefore chose the easiest place ......., but no ... my good friend the harbor master wanted me over to the most difficult place !! I tried to persuade him a little, but I did not get anything out of it. Well - but luckily I know my boat well and it went without any problems - even elegant I would say. But some looked curious for the Dane in the beautiful little boat 😁. 5 minutes after I had finished the maneuver, it became almost windless again - exactly as 3-4 weeks ago when I was here. The other boats that had entered the marina at the same time as me they were still circling around in the harbor - they had not dared to dock in the strong wind and now that it was almost windless again they had to be in place. Afterwards, it is a great feeling to know your boat so well that you do so nicely a difficult harbor maneuver. I actually also enjoyed that the harbor master took it for granted that I just could 😊

Some of the other boats occasionally have some clumsy harbor maneuvers even though they are many to help. I am alone and know that it is myself who must plan and carry out the task. Sometimes I actually think it's an advantage because I can see that misunderstandings often arise on the other boats during port maneuvers. However, I generally thought that most people are good at handling their boats. I am still wildly impressed with how they can maneuver a large catamaran in a small harbor basin. Then i becomes glad that my boat is a small boat ..........unfortunaly without aircondition, which today is mainstream at the bigger boats.

It was a very hot day and I hurried to my local regular cafe and got an ice cold beer and a capocino with a glass of ice water -it's super in hot weather.😀

The temperature was still in the range 35-37 degrees heat after sunset and it does not provide good night's sleep. The 2 fans have been working all night but the sleep was not good and I am a little groggy this morning. Today I have to stock up - I miss everything!
