Arrived quite late from Vliho bay - my base - when I got some thoughts about instead driving to Corfu, where I plan to be from about August 10 and almost 3 weeks .. Must look a little closer at Corfu as well as hopefully also some houses for rent. The decision, however, was as originally to sail there. Motoring for the Lefkas canal - then fine sailing weather for Preveza. Code Zero is super in light air. Typically goes 5 knots alone for it.

There was a big queue at the bridge - when it finally opened there were maybe 100 boats to go through. I have not before been more than e few when i passed. The Italians have been given summer vacation and they are coming to Greece in large numbers. The Greeks are a bit ambivalent about the Italians. They want tourists, but say that the Italian boat owners are very dominant and noisy. However, they are only here for 3-4 weeks. I can well recognize that they are a bit noisy, with Italian temperament and maybe 3-4 children and friends then there will be some shouting activity 😃. The boats are also loaded with swimwear in all colors and sizes - some plastic dolfins and big pink flamingoes.😂.

Got nice anchorage at the back of the marina in fine shelter from the casted strong wind today. 10m / s is expected so I have to stay over here in Preveza, which is a really nice city.
